Module 2 Assignment (1)
Q • What is the difference between digital and analog media?
• What is multimedia storytelling?
• Identify and describe two editing techniques that should be used by digital editors.
First of all, it is required mentioning that in the analog technology signals are taken directly from the microphone and thereafter laid onto tape. In the analog style, a wave is always used in its original form and as the wave taken from a microphone is analog, the wave on the tape will also be regarded as analog. In the analog form, a wave on the tape can be sent to a speaker, can be read as well as amplified. On the other hand, in the digital technology, at some interval point, the analog wave is sampled and thereafter they are turned into the number format and thereafter stored in any digital device.
